Gondola ride

The gondola ride was one of my favorite things I got to do. It was so peaceful and beautiful. It was nice to get to sit down and relax and just take in everything. Our gondolier had some interesting stories to share. He told us he has seen a few proposals but once a guy paid for the hour long ride he proposed early into the ride and the girl said no. He said it was an extremely awkward ride after that.
